I’m a designer, planner, and researcher who cares about leftover places and buildings:

backroad farmhouses,

abandoned industrial spaces,

and small towns.

I enjoy mixing methods of work:

hand-drawing with parametric modeling;

office work with on-site construction;

teaching with doing;

writing with making;

policy with practice.

I hope to leave behind beautiful buildings,

bolstered communities,

reused materials,

and a culture with a greater appreciation for its built environment.
